Sioux Center Arts is excited to present the summer 2020 production of "The 39 Steps"!
Mix a Hitchcock masterpiece with a juicy spy novel, add a dash of Monty Python and you have The 39 Steps, a farcical fast-paced whodunit packed with dozens of zany characters (all played by a cast of four), train chases, handcuffs, missing fingers, and some good old-fashioned romance!
Richard Hannay is a London man with an ordinary life, until the day he meets a mysterious woman with a dangerous secret. Hannay soon finds himself on the run for his life, in a nationwide manhunt that climaxes in a death-defying finale! With a great blend of comedy, thriller, mystery, and romance, "The 39 Steps" is a story not to be missed!
This show is a uniquely collaborative theatrical endeavor, co-directed and acted by a cast of four (David Janssen, Brandon Miller, Jonathan Foster, and Kate Henreckson). Come enjoy an evening of socially-distanced theater to celebrate the last days of summer!
